The Grammy Award winner, famous for songs like Dance the Night, Levitating and new release Houdini, has just had that style influence recognised, being named Global Makeup Ambassador for YSL Beauty.
The star has been working with the French luxury fashion and beauty brand as the face of Libre perfume since 2019, but the newly announced title extends her role with Yves Saint Laurent.
To start with, Dua Lipa will front YSL’s upcoming ‘Loveshine’ collection of makeup products, including glossy lip colours, that focus on creating the illusion of light.
Dua was chosen for the role at the L’Oreal-owned brand because she brings an ‘electrifying energy,’ said Stephan Bezy, International General Manager, YSL Beauty, explaining she inspires women “to not just wear makeup, but to make a statement about who they are and what they stand for.”
“Her influence is a celebration of individuality, a statement of empowerment, encouraging everyone to embrace their unique beauty with confidence,” says Bezy.
