The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had a day out in Coventry visiting school children and seeing the local university’s medical program developments.
Kate Middleton had a touching moment while opening the Mittal Children’s Medical Centre. The pregnant Duchess bonded with sick children and received two teddy bears for Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Later that day, Kate Middleton joined children from Bond Primary School for a tennis training session. The Duchess was in good form as she engaged in racquet activities with the kids.
Prince William was awarded an Honorary Fellowship from The Royal Society of Medicine for his extensive work supporting healthcare, particularly mental wellbeing and emergency medical responses.

The Duke of Cambridge then visited Evelina London Children’s Hospital to celebrate the introduction of the Step into Health program, which provides career opportunities in the National Health Service for ex-servicemen. Will, whose charity The Royal Foundation supports the new initiative, announced his delight at the news. ‘These veterans are without doubt exceptional men and women who have loyally served their country. I am incredibly proud to be talking about the national rollout of Step into Health”, The Daily Mail reports.

Afterwards, Will met with patients of the children’s hospital, even playing board games with one young man. Fourteen-year-old Aidah said meeting the Prince was an amazing experience. “He was really nice and spent some time talking to me. I’m on dialysis and working up to a kidney transplant so we talked about that, he asked if dialysis hurt and about my education,” he told Evelina London. “I’ve been working on a robot dog for the last month, it can walk and talk and is called Wally. He wanted to know if I could make it sing and I’m going to work on it.”
