The star strolled the red carpet in a look you wouldn’t want to get too close to. She wore a vintage chainmail dress and matching headpiece from Paco Rabanne’s 1996 spring couture collection.
Featuring the designer’s signature chainmail fabric, the dress also turned heads for the series of arrows poking out of the dress and headpiece at all angles.
It comes as the star revealed she reached out to Charlize Theron – who previously played the role of Furiosa in 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road – after filming on Furiosa was complete.
“You have to go on your own journey with it. But as soon as it was done, I reached out to her because I’m such a fan, not only of her as an actress but her as a person,” Taylor-Joy said.
“And she’s as wonderful and cool as you could possibly hope, and really supportive and classy, so I appreciated it.”
