Debbie Harry rocked a bold pink makeup look as she stepped out for the Gucci Cruise 2026 show at London's Tate Modern.

The Blondie singer has always been a trend-setter. The star’s messy blonde ‘do and statement-making, punk-inflected style has never waned over the decades she’s been in the public eye, which is one reason she continues to garner a huge following.

Now, she’s given us another look to love, this time adopting a very on-trend pink makeup look while attending Gucci’s Cruise 2025 show at the Tate Modern in London.

The ‘Rapture’ and ‘Heart of Glass’ singer contrasted a sleek black Gucci suit with a simple white tee, while letting her makeup take the focus. She wore a rose-gold shimmer eyeshadow over her eyelids, blended to the crease, finished with black eyeliner. She paired the look with a matching pink lip liner, topped with flattering clear lip gloss.

The look may have been a nod to Harry’s favoured bold eyeshadow looks of the 70s and 80s, where a similar pink was a favourite.

The popularity of pink makeup certainly appears to show no signs of slowing down, with a number of stars wearing the look to the recent Met Gala. Makeup artist Sophy Phillips has previously explained its appeal, calling pink ‘versatile and fun’, pointing out it is easy to wear and works for a variety of moods and moments.

The occasion also fittingly marked the relaunch the House’s ‘Blondie’ bag. The top-handle style, first released in the early 70s and now reimagined by creative Sabato De Sarno, appeared with a number of the fresh Cruise collection looks.

The chic bag has been revisited in a number of leather colours as well as toile, each proudly displaying the iconic Gucci logo.
