See Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, step out in Sussex.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry undertook a landmark visit to the historic county from which they derive their Royal titles on Wednesday, and received a very special gift for a unique member of the Royal Family.

The newlyweds visited Survivors’ Network, a Brighton-based charity which supports the survivors of sexual abuse.

Upon meeting the charity’s director, Jay Breslaw, the Duchess was presented with a unique, framed drawing of her rescue dog with an astute commentary on gender equality.

Breslaw commented on the gift, saying: “We had a local artist do an intersectional feminist print of your dog.”

Meghan responded gladly, saying: “How lovely. Look at the little freckles on his face!”

The dog in question was in fact Guy, a beagle that Meghan rescued from Ontario’s A Dog Dream Rescue in Canada in 2015, before bringing him to the UK.

The drawing posed a question to the dog, saying: “Who’s a good boy? Who’s a good boy?”

The royal couple had a busy schedule, including a visit to the historic Sussex Declaration, the opening of a Tech Park at the University of Chichester, and a stop at a youth center. They also stopped in both East Sussex and West Sussex during their first official visit.

The couple put on a loved-up display, holding hands and sharing smiles and giggles together throughout the day.

Markle wore a cream cashmere coat from Giorgio Armani, a silk dark green shirt by & Other Stories, a green leather pencil skirt by Hugo Boss, and beige suede Stuart Weitzman heels for the event – according to People. She pulled her hair back into a low bun and accessorised with the green “Satin Demi” bag by Gabriela Hearst and a signet ring and two bracelets, one beaded and one double chain design, by Missoma.
