How to achieve the beauty look from Atelier Versace Fall 2015 couture
The Atelier Versace Fall 2015 couture collection featured flower-wielding goddesses of nature, a step away from the ultra sexy and provocative image that is the essence of the Italian fashion house. Light feathers, flowing chiffon, intricate embroidery work and frayed hems worked delicately to show the softer, more romantic side of the Versace woman.
As the collection celebrated light pastel colours, so too did the make up. Brows were also bear, lips only slightly glossed and cheeks barely rosed.
Here’s how to achieve the ethereal beauty look from Atelier Versace, sans the sequin floral headband.
Get the natural brow look by defining your brow hairs with brow gel. If you don’t have much brow to work with, use a sharpened eyebrow pencil to feather in colour into your brow, putting more definition into the wing and arch, and less into the inner half. Colour minimally.
A slight hint of pink on the cheeks is enough to create a natural look. Carefully place a little amount of blush on a blush brush. Apply in a circular motion on the apples of your cheeks.
Naturally long lashes are essential for most looks. Aim for naturally long, spaced out lashes and avoid over clumping.
Models sported soft green eyes, all the way from above the crease to under the eyes. First, highlight eyelid with a white coloured shadow as a base. Then use an eyeshadow crease brush to place green shadow on top of the eyelid. Use an eye smudge brush to place colour under the eyes, and line waterline with black kohl pencil.
Apply a glossy nude colour to finish off the natural look.
