Art, fashion and contemporary femininity collide in Dior’s Pre-Fall 2017 collection, created by the French fashion house’s first female artistic director, Maria Grazia Chiuri. Chiuri’s realm of inspiration is diverse: the independent style and freedom of Parisian intellectuals and artists of the 19th century converge with the modern day bohemians of Los Angeles. While drawing on these two themes Chiuri kept the new generations of urban women, determined to assert the their individuality in mind.
