Casino Chanel

Last season Karl Lagerfeld set the scene for his show by transforming the Grand Palais into a bar. This week it was a casino.

His autumn/winter 15-16 presentation for Chanel ‘Cercle Prive’ was opened by actress Kristen Stewart, a current muse, who walked onto the set wearing a black suit and biting a cigarette holder embellished with gems.

She was joined at the tables by actress Julianne Moore, Lily Collins, Lara Stone, Stella Tennant and Rita Ora, in front of which models paused and posed wearing gowns any Bond girl would die for.

It was Stewart and Kendall Jenner (who closed the show wearing a white wedding trouser suit), however, that wore the pants.
