Trend Update: NYFW SS18

As we near the end of New York Fashion Week 2017, it’s time to round up the best looks that have graced the runway so far. Metallics, florals and sports-inspired styles were key features, with monochrome playing a leading role too. Unstructured silhouettes were another popular trend on the NZFW catwalk.

Miss Crabb x Well Made Clothes slow fashion collab

Local fashion companies Miss Crabb and Well Made Clothes have joined together to create a range of dresses that epitomise the slow fashion trend: high quality pieces designed to last.

The dresses are part of Well Made Clothes’ Kairos collection, which is inspired by the ancient Greek word meaning “the right moment.” The dresses celebrate the notion of timelessness and spontaneity that the word Kairos encompasses, aiming to be worn during memory-worthy moments.

Photographed on Australian indie rock band, Body Type, the collaboration also promotes the creativity that is part and parcel to the word Kairos.

Kairo is available exclusively on Well Made Clothes and Miss Crabb from Wednesday 13th September.
