For Jane Daniels Autumn/Winter 2018 collection the iconic Kiwi designer turned to Japan for inspiration. Elements of traditional Japanese calligraphy, woodblock printing and indigo dyeing come to life in the timeless collection. Intricate detailing pays homage to origami and the art of Furoshiki (fabric folding and weaving) while the colour palette of Aizome (Japanese indigo blue), coral, cherry red, chalk white and deep ink shades conjures up another time and place.
