Entertaining this weekend? Give these bourbon-based cocktails a whirl.

Whether you consider yourself a bit of a bourbon aficionado or usually find yourself reaching for a different tipple, these three cocktails will give you a whole new appreciation for whiskey.

These three cocktails, which are perfect for spring evenings, have been shaken and stirred up using Legent – a new one-of-a-kind innovation in the whiskey world. Legent starts as a Kentucky Straight Bourbon with the Beam classic family recipe and is aged in wine and sherry casks before being blended with more Kentucky Straight Bourbon. The result is a perfectly balanced yet complex and layered whiskey.

Legent cocktails are available at Auckland restaurants, Huami and The Sugar Club, or can be purchased at all good liquor retailers nationwide for $99.99.
