The most exciting new beauty arrivals to update your routine this month

In the mood for a little beauty pick-me-up? Or have a gap waiting to be filled in your regular routine thanks to finishing up what you were using previously?

Never fear, there are plenty of worthy new beauty arrivals to get excited about and even better, they work beautifully. Offering a number of innovative formulas and packaging updates makes us wonder how we ever enjoyed using older iterations.

With cooler weather on the horizon, the time is right to lean into more nourishing and renewing skincare options and we’re also in the mood to add a little more coverage to our makeup application with new primers, foundation and concealer options.

Gucci Beauty Sérum De Beauté Fluide Matifiant Mattifying Primer

Though glow is the goal for many these days, there are still some of us that love a perfected look, particularly if you’re prone to shine. Thankfully this mattifying primer has a very modern finish that keeps any oils slicks at bay while still leaving skin looking fresh and hydrated, rather than flat. Moambe jaune tree extract, salicylic acid, and bamboo powders keep oil under control and hyaluronic acid and glycerin deliver long lasting moisture, combining to help hold on to makeup all day.

MAC Macstack Mascara

The latest mascara to land, MAC Cosmetics has developed a new formula with polymer fibres that seamlessly build on each other allowing the formula to be ‘infinitely layered’. While we don’t suggest you add 200 coats, it’s buildable, clump-resistant results are certainly commendable. What’s more, it’s available with two different styles of brush so you can choose to purchase with a Superstack Mega brush – a thicker spoolie for instant volume or the Superstack Micro brush for ultra-precise application suited to shorter or lower lashes.

Trinny London Cleansers

After four years of success with her straightforward, easy to use makeup line, influencer and former TV stylist Trinny Wodall has extended the approach with her first foray into skincare. Launching with two cleansers designed to use alone or as a double cleanse to remove makeup and deep clean skin, the star has indicated they are just the first of a wider collection of skincare products to come.

Be Your Best Enzyme Balm Cleanser is oil-based to nourish skin and melt away makeup, and Better Off AHA/PHA Gel Cleanser is formulated with liquid exfoliants including lactic acid and malic acid to go a little deeper and nudge off dulling dead skin cells.

Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Lift and Firm Night Cream

Part of a trio of reformulated moisturisers just launched by Elizabeth Arden, this nourishing night cream has a modern, buttery, melt-into-skin texture and is full of beneficial ingredients to hydrate and firm skin, but doesn’t feel as heavy as some night creams can. It’s packed with ceramides that we now know are a type of lipid essential to maintaining a healthy skin barrier. All of which is to say this is a perfect option for skin in the evening, particularly coming into winter.

Bobbi Brown Concealers & Correctors

Bobbi Brown meets the trend for making makeup-up easy and fast with a new collection of creamy Skin Corrector and Skin Concealer  sticks designed to swipe on and blend with fingers or a brush for a super quick cover-up of uneven tone and blemishes. To quickly cancel out discoloration and very dark undereye circles the brightening Skin Corrector can be layered with the concealer on top.

Dr. LeWinn’s Ultra R4 Collagen Surge Overnight Sleep Mask

Dr. LeWinn’s new Ultra R4 Collagen Surge Overnight Sleep Mask encompasses a number of emerging trends, giving us an easy skin treatment full of the latest active ingredients that promise to improve our skin, and our sleep!  The dual chamber isolates a collagen plumping serum and peptide energising serum to preserve the purity and potency of ingredients until just before application. Apply before bed and the mask gets to work transforming skin and restoring its radiance and energy by morning. The inclusion of Dreamscentz™ by fragrance maker Givaudan uses scent technology that is said to aid in a more restful sleep.

Sundae Body Whipped Shower Foams

Vegan and cruelty-free, clean of parabens and sulphates, Sundae have taken the everyday soap and made it fun, serving up bursts of creamy foam that melts into a rich, velvety lather with delicious scents of honey, coconut, pomegranate and mint.

Sothys Organics collection

French skin and Spa brand Sothys has just revealed an appealing update for lovers of botanically-led skincare products. The Sothys Organics collection offers organic and vegan formulas certified via EcoCert standards, with beautiful textures, efficiency and advanced, natural active ingredients.

Taking inspiration from the natural environment near Sothys’ research lab and dedicated gardens in the Corrèze region of France, the collection calls on a number of key organic active ingredients including honeysuckle, alfalfa, and hawthorn and birch sap, each offering unique skin-improving properties. A cleansing oil, gentle exfoliant, radiance mask and lightweight moisturiser complete the home care while a new 30 minute professional treatment refreshes and instantly boosts skin’s natural glow.

Clarins Lip Oils

Sheer and glossy with a hint of colour and a moisturising texture that feels beautiful on this lips, Clarins reformulated Lip Comfort Oil is the perfect low-effort option. With jojoba and hazelnut oils and sweetbriar rose extract they’ll leave lips in healthy comfortable condition too.

Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Superfusion Facial Oil

Better known for her makeup, Charlotte Tilbury’s new facial oil is nonetheless a notable arrival for its focus on collagen, a swiftly growing category, moving beyond the ingestible supplement craze to topical application to encourage skin’s moisture and elasticity. This non greasy,  non-comedogenic oil combines avocado, evening primrose, and raspberry seed oils and a plant-derived, vitamin-enriched collagen complex.

Naked Sundays Luminous Clear Gel Sunscreen

Another innovation from Australian SPF brand Naked Sundays, this new arrival brings high protection in a clear serum made with Squalane, Kakadu Plum and Tomato Extract that deliver nourishment for the skin’s barrier and essential vitamins along with sunscreen filters to keen skin well protected from UV damage.

Benefit Boi-ing Bright On Concealer

Gaining raves everywhere, Benefit’s new brightening concealer is swiftly becoming the season’s most talked about product thanks to its thin, creamy consistency that spreads and blends beautifully. It has colour correcting pigments intended to brighten up your under eye area but it’s just as useful for reliable coverage everywhere else you might need it.
