Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have appeared in public together for the first time at Christmas Mass with the Royal family

Prince William and Kate Middleton joined Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on the short walk to St Mary Magdalene Church for Christmas Day Mass.

Meghan Markle has become the first fiancee to join the Royal Family at Sandringham for Christmas.

It is understood that Prince Harry and his fiancee will stay with Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge at Anmer Hall, their home in the Sandringham grounds, rather than in the main house with the rest of the Royal family.

It was the first time Middleton and Markle have been seen together in public
