Princess Eugenie is pregnant with her second child

The late Queen's granddaughter is expecting her second child this summer.

Buckingham Palace has announced that Princess Eugenie is pregnant with her second child.

The 32-year-old royal, who lives in Nottingham Cottage in Kensington Palace with her husband Jack Brooksbank and son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, shared the news on social media.

“We’re so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer,” Eugenie shared on Instagram, along with a photo her and August captured by Jack.

Eugenie’s mother, Sarah ‘Fergie’ Ferguson, Duchess of York, expressed her delight at the news, commenting “Granny heaven” on her daughter’s post.

Her first born, August, is due to turn two on 9 February and made his first public appearance at the Platinum Jubilee pageant celebrations in June 2022, donning an adorable union jack jumper.

Princess Eugenie, who is not a working royal, is the co-founder of the Anti-Slavery Collective and a Director at the Hauser & Wirth art gallery.
