Four years after stepping down from royal duties the couple launched website Sussex.com, appearing to use the address as a hub for the pair’s various endeavours. It also links back to the original Sussex Royal website the pair controversially launched in 2020 coinciding with their geographical move away from the royal family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s royal crest also appears.
“The Office of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex is shaping the future through business and philanthropy, the website states saying these include the ‘Archewell Foundation, Archewell Productions and patronages, ventures, and organizations which receive the support of the couple, individually and/or together’.
The pair stepped away from royal life in in early 2020 and moved to California to raise their two children, Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2, leading to a strained relationship with the royal family.
The new website shows off a photo of Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, from the 2023 Invictus Games and also offers up glowing bios of each alongside their official royal titles – The Duke of Sussex and Duchess of Sussex.
Prince Harry is described as a ‘humanitarian, military veteran, mental health advocate, and environmental campaigner.’ The site shares that he has dedicated his adult life to advancing causes that he is passionate about and that advance permanent change for people and places.’ He is also called a ‘New York Times Bestselling author’ for his memoir ‘Spare’.
Wife Meghan is introduced as a ‘feminist and champion of human rights and gender equity’. Her famous role in TV series ‘Suits is mentioned as well as numerous accolades. ‘She has been named one of the most influential women in the world in rankings including TIME Magazine’s Most Influential People, The Financial Times’ 25 Most Influential Women, Variety Power of Women, and British Vogue’s Vogue 25.’
The launch comes days after Harry flew to the UK after the news King Charles had been diagnosed with cancer was revealed.
