“This issue is unlike any other edition we have ever created before” says Editor-in-chief Michael McHugh.
“Usually at this time of the year, we include a feature on future trends and ideas for the new year ahead. This time around, we have given the entire magazine over to the concept and pulled together 70 future trends that hopefully will make you reflect on the new year ahead of you, and consider different possibilities in your own life”.
From the technology that’s shaping your future including cyber security, smart cities and artificial intelligence to the new ideas, trends and habits that are changing the world, the Jan/Feb 2020 issue explores it all.
Scarlett Johansson returns to the cover, the first time since the MiNDFOOD launch issue in 2008. After 25 years in the business, the highest paid actress in the world talks to MiNDFOOD about growing up in the spotlight, anti-Semitism and her latest film, Jojo Rabbit.
This issue also marks the launch a monthly photo competition. Supporting New Zealand’s creative community and showcasing local talent is an important part of MiNDFOOD. This month we are introducing a new photo competition and we are calling all amateur photographers to enter. Each month all shortlisted images will be published on our Facebook page, and the winner will be published in MiNDFOOD magazine. The best photograph published over the course of a year will win $1,000.
