Staying strong: Bruce Willis dances with daughter amid health struggles

The actor, who was recently diagnosed with aphasia, is all smiles has he dances along to Lizzo, in a recent video shared by his wife.

In March this year, Bruce Willis’ family announced he had been diagnosed with aphasia, a degenerative brain condition that impacts cognitive abilities.

On Friday, his wife, Emma Heming Willis, shared an update with fans, showing the 67-year-old actor smiling as he danced with his 10-year-old daughter, Mabel.

“Bringing that weekend in strong! #TGIF #happyfriday,” wrote Emma alongside the video.

Willis, who has appeared in 100 films across his four decade career, including Pulp Fiction, Die Hard and The Sixth Sense, announced his he would be stepping away from acting to focus on his health.

“This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support,” the family statement said. “We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him.”

Willis married Emma in 2009 with whom he has two daughters, Mabel and eight-year-old Evelyn. He is also father to Rumer (33), Scott (31) and Tallulah (28), with his ex-wife Demi Moore.
