There was much to be made of Britney Spears wedding to her partner Sam Asghari.
The singer and the actor and fitness expert exchanged vows during a relatively small ceremony and reception at their home in Thousand Oaks home in Los Angeles, but there was still plenty of details to wow.
There was the custom-made Versace gown, created for her by wedding guest Donatella Versace. There was the horse-drawn carriage, the pink rose-bedecked balcony (complete with royal-worthy balcony kiss photo-op) and then there was fellow guest Madonna awkwardly singing along to her hit Vogue on the dancefloor shoulder to shoulder with Donatella and other guests Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton and Britney herself. There were also (naturally) a number of outfit and hair changes for the ‘Toxic’ singer throughout the festivities.
But after all is said and done, there is one detail that may have the most potential to influence fellow brides in the coming months.
Britney’s wedding makeup was desirably, quintessentially bridal, with glowing skin, rosy cheeks, a neutral, ever-so-slightly smoky eye look, and a nude-pink lip.

Missing no opportunity to make the most of the moment, those responsible promptly shared the details of the refined beauty look.
Globally recognised makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury, who owns her own eponymous cosmetics line, and her fellow makeup artist niece, Sofia, collaborated to create the makeup look, with Sofia responsible for the day’s application.
Star of the show? A pinky-nude lipstick from Charlotte Tilbury’s makeup line in the best-selling ‘Pillow Talk’ shade, well-known to suit a wide number of skin tones, on any type of occasion. As such it’s a favourite of celebrities such as Salma Hayek, Sienna Miller, Olivia Palermo and was also worn by Amal Clooney on her wedding day.

The rest of the look – skincare included – was also helpfully broken down in both a press release from the brand and an Instagram post detailing each and every product used.

While Charlotte herself couldn’t be there in person, she showed off her very sweet wedding gift on her Instagram: two custom lipsticks for the superstar: one called Bridal Britney and the other dubbed Mrs. Asghari.
