Geena Davis and Jeff Goldblum reunited at the 30th annual SAG Awards on Saturday over 30 years since their split.

The duo first starred together 1986’s The Fly and were married from 1987 to 1991. Davis referring to it as a ‘magical time of her life’.

‘Right away we got to work with each other on an incredible project,’ she shared, referring to The Fly. ‘And we were so passionate about that project and loved working on it.’

The movie soared to success, instantly catapulting them into the limelight as a celebrity couple.

As for Goldblum, he told GQ that Geena ‘made love, falling in love, so easy,’ calling her ‘purely loving, beguiling, and irresistible.’

A whole new world

33 years later Davis and Goldblum shared the stage to present the night’s top honour, Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

‘The great Geena Davis, everybody,’ Goldblum said of his gorgeous ex wife, who dazzled in a Pamella Roland gown, as they kicked off their presentation.

Fans quickly took to social to praise the couple’s ‘amazing chemistry’. Most of them didn’t even realise they had been married and were once Hollywood’s celebrated ‘It’ couple.

With effortless charm, the duo rekindled memories of their remarkable chemistry, sharing words of support as they announced the nominees — American Fiction, Barbie, The Color Purple, Killers of the Flower Moon, and Oppenheimer — ultimately bestowing the honour upon Oppenheimer.
