The Spring/Summer 2017 issue of MiNDFOOD SYTLE is set to hit newsstands on September 19, with New Zealand model Liv O’Driscoll in new season Gucci on the cover. The fifth instalment of the glossy, biannual magazine – a brand extension to popular MiNDFOOD – features more than 240 pages of red-hot summer fashion, along with essential style guides, design inspiration, beauty tips and more.
This issue, a special Samoa Anthology sees the MiNDFOOD STYLE team travel to shoot must-have spring and summer wardrobe pieces on powder-white beaches, under picture-perfect palms, beside whitewashed churches, and in fern-laced jungles.
“While it wasn’t the destination we had initially booked to shoot this issue of MiNDFOOD STYLE, Samoa turned out to be a dream location,” says editor-in-chief Michael McHugh. “From the beaches to the jungle, the islands’ tropical settings provided the perfect backdrop for the latest local and international fashion collections. It was all possible thanks to the warmth of the Samoan people, who welcomed us with open arms and made the photographs we took truly special.”
The issue also features exclusive interviews with Victoria Beckham and New Zealand’s Next Top Model winner Dani Hayes, and brings you a sneak peek behind the scenes of the new Auckland Theatre Company.
The Spring/Summer 2017 issue of MiNDFOOD STYLE also marks the launch of STYLE.CO.NZ, your essential hub for everything related to fashion, design, beauty and wellness. From, giveaways to store openings and runway updates, your summer style starts here.
