Netflix’s period hit returns 25 March, and fans now have a brand new trailer offering a glimpse of what’s to come in Bridgerton season two.
The second season of Bridgerton follows Daphne’s brother, Viscount Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathon Bailey) as he decides to marry. However, “duty, desire and scandal collide” as the dashing Viscount meets his match in his intended bridge’s headstrong sister, played by Sex Education’s Simone Ashley.
Speaking to British Vogue, Bailey described the new season as “brilliant.”
“I feel like the campy, plush spectacle of the Bridgerton world is only going to get more pronounced in the best way possible. It’s mad, and it’s brilliant. There are also going to be a lot of brilliant characters introduced in this series — and it’s not just Anthony that we’re going to delve into.”
Bridgerton season two premieres on Netflix on 25 March 2022.
