The trailer for ‘Scoop’ shows Gillian Anderson as the notorious Emily Maitlis. Maitlis’ grilling of Prince Andrew on the BBC led to an enormous humiliation for the prince, who has since settled a sexual assault case filed against him by Jeffrey Epstein-accuser Virginia Giuffre.
In the trailer, Maitlis can be seen striding towards the camera as the team prepares to roll on what became one of the most shocking British TV interviews of all time.
