Eater San Francisco reports that SO Chinese restaurant shut up shop before leaving a two-page sign in their window, pointing the blame at finicky customers:
“We are closed because of you (customers), So…yes we use MSG, we don’t believe in organic food, and we don’t give a sh&t about gluten free.”
According to Eater SF, a SO Chinese employee claims that the chef/owner was pushed too far after two back-to-back customer complaints, one of which claimed the food was “too spicy”. This coupled with gradually declining sales led to the restaurant’s closure.
So said owner resorted to posting up the sign above. That’ll learn those needy customers. Or will it?
