Walnut and Triple Chocolate Chip Brownie Recipe
Serves about 20
Ingredients:
300g dark chocolate
150g butter, chopped
¾ cup brown sugar
2 eggs, lightly whisked
1½ cups plain flour
½ cup sour cream
100g walnuts, toasted
100g white chocolate, chopped
50g milk chocolate, chopped
50g dark chocolate, extra, chopped
Method:
Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease and line the base and sides of a 20cm square cake pan with baking paper, allowing the sides to overhang.
Combine chocolate and butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3-4 minutes or until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat, set aside for 5 minutes to cool.
Add sugar and eggs, stir to combine. Mix in flour and sour cream. Add walnuts and milk, white and dark chocolates, stir to combine.
Spoon into the prepared pan and smooth the surface.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Set aside in the pan to cool completely. Cut into squares to serve
