Pickled Martini

By Recipe from Al Brown's, The Federal, Auckland

Adding a pickled onion or cucumber gives a sharp martini drink a hint of savoury balance.

60ml Plymouth Gin (or Vodka)

2 tsp pickle juice & 2 tsp pickle juice

5ml vermouth over ice (throw out before serving)

5ml vermouth Iced Boston

Stir – Strain – Serve.

Pickled onion or pickle to garnish
