Eating for diabetes

A groups of renowned chefs have come together to create the first sophisticated cookbook for people with diabetes.

One in four Australians over 25 have diabetes or impaired glucose intolerance (pre diabetes) and one person is diagnosed with diabetes in Australia every seven minutes.

Amanda Bilson, the wife of renowned chef Tony Bilson, who has had Type 1 diabetes for 45 years, and Janni Kryitsis, an acclaimed chef himself who has Type 2 diabetes, have invited some of the best chefs in the Southern Hemisphere to contribute wonderful recipes for everyday eating and special occasions, including many fantastic desserts.
