In the Hills at the Turner Residence
1. The stacked stone walls of the driveway contain an irrigation system to keep the ever-growing greenery lush.
2. The structure was designed to limit its visual impact on the ridge of the hill, so the lower level was built partially into the slope.
3. The stainless steel stairs connect the levels.
4. The bathroom, like much of the home, features perforated screens, which control the level of lighting during the day.
5. The private rooms such as the bedrooms are situated on the lower level for privacy.
6. The lounge.
7. Looking towards the lower and upper levels.
8. The reflective glass plays a part in disguising the house amid its surroundings as it reflects back the light, shadows and heritage trees.
9. The living areas of the pavilion can be protected by a curtain attached to a continuous track that wraps right around.
10. The spa, situated by the pool, sits in an Alaskan yellow cedar enclosure for additional shade.
11. Upper level during the day.
12. With the sliding doors right open at night-time.
