Parody video of Jacinda Ardern’s ‘little dance’ goes viral
A parody video of Jacinda Ardern's Covid-free dance has gone viral on YouTube.

On Monday Jacinda Ardern told the press that she ‘did a little dance’ when she found out there were no active cases of COVID-19 in New Zealand.

Now a parody video of the prime minister doing a ‘little dance’ has gone viral on YouTube.

“I showed Neve, she was caught a little by surprise but she joined in having absolutely no idea why I was dancing around the lounge but enjoying it nonetheless,” she said.

In the video – which you can watch below – Jacinda Ardern replaces Hugh Grant’s character in an iconic scene from Love Actually.

The scene, in which Grant dances through 10 Downing Street to Dancing to Jump (For My Love), now features Jacinda Ardern grinning from ear to ear.

Director-general of health Ashley Bloomfield makes an appearance near the end of the clip.

“I’m not quite as good a dancer as the Prime Minister,” Bloomfield said during the press conference. “But I did allow myself a broad smile.”
