New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, has once again proven her popularity. It’s been less than 24-hours after the birth of her baby, and the Labour leader has already received many well wishes from important figures all over the globe.

Ladies Day is the biggest day in the racing calendar and brings with it all the glitz and glamour as those attending don their best outfits. Including the Queen, who attended Ascot, joining Princess Anne, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie for her third day at Ascot.

But as it turns out, not even a bit of horsing around could stop the Queen from congratulating New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, and her partner, Clarke Gayford, on their new arrival.

The Queen sent the new couple a private letter, which was emailed to Jacinda Ardern, expressing her best wishes toward the new family.

Justin Trudeau, the Canadian Prime Minister tweeted Jacinda, welcoming the couple to the world of parenting and providing a cheeky tip.

British Prime Minister, Theresa May, also tweeted her congratulations yesterday.

The new family will be spending a second night at the hospital with family members expected to visit them today.
