Our must-see shows from the 2020 Adelaide Fringe Festival

The largest open-access arts festival in the Southern Hemisphere will once again, take over the city of Adelaide. The Adelaide Fringe Festival kicks off on 14 February – 15 March, bringing 31 days and nights of music, theatre, circus, art and more.

It’s a jam-packed programme, with acts from all around Australia and beyond. We round up our must-see events.

Yabarra: Dreaming in Light

The Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute will be hosting a free, immersive, festival-long installation that can’t be missed. Described as “cutting-edge light technologies and state-of-the-art illuminations” the event will be a stunning celebration of the stories of First Nations.

Velvet Rewired

A wonderful blend of music, dance and circus, Velvet Rewired returns to the festival to dazzle and delight audiences. 2020 Fringe Ambassador Marcia Hines will take the stage as Diva, along with a full cast of acrobats, aerialists, singers and “jaw-dropping circus skills.”

Blanc de Blanc Encore

The hugely popular Blanc de Blan returns to Adelaide for an unforgettable Encore performance. Promising an “intoxicating blend of flirtation and acrobatic feats to transport you to a champagne nirvana,” Blanc de Blanc delivers all the glitz and glam for a memorable Fringe experience.

Choir of Man

Fresh off their world tour, Choir of Man are back at Fringe to deliver “good-time powerhouse vocals smashing your favourite pub classics, rock ballads and pop hits.”
