While the photo highlighted some of the work that the Prince and Princess, the image also revealed Kate’s love of classic novels.
On the desk behind the Princess was a row of bright-coloured Penguin Clothbound Classics. The collection, designed by Coralie Bickford-Smith, features the likes of Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky; Little Women by Louisa May Alcott; and Emma by Jane Austen.
