Known for his tongue-in-cheek street art projects, elusive artist Banksy has taken his unique brand of vandalism to his home as he quarantines amid coronavirus.
Sharing a series of photos on his Instagram account, Banksy has depicted a group of mishevious rats loose in his bathroom.
“My wife hates it when I work from home”, writes the artist.
One shot captures a cheeky rat swinging from a handrail and landing on a tube of toothpaste.
Another rat is spotted running along a roll of toilet paper, while another relieves itself on the toilet seat.
Banksy’s last public artwork was revealed on Valentine’s Day in Bristol, depicting a girl firing flowers from a catapult.
The piece was vandalised soon after it appeared and Banksy called out his vandaliser on social media, saying “I’m kind of glad the piece in Barton Hill got vandalised. The initial sketch was a lot better..”
