Dessert lovers ought to be booking their tickets to Lisabon where Portuguese pastry chef Joaquim Sousa at the Ipsylom restaurant has created a dessert that would totally impress your dinner date.
Sousa’s ‘dessert du jour’, the magical chocolat flower dessert looks like a little chocolate ball … until hot cream is poured over it and it ‘blooms’ like a beautiful flower. It works by dissolving the ingredients below the dessert and the chocolate ‘petals’ peel away.
