Haere mai ki te rā whakanui i te Tiriti o Waitangi ka tū ki Manukau.

Celebrate our national day at Auckland Council’s Waitangi ki Manukau, a fun, free event for all the family on Tuesday 6 February in Hayman Park, Manukau. Take a picnic and enjoy the entertainment, including a fantastic line-up of live music from Maisey Rika, Rootz Konekt, Sweet Echo, RnR Music and more. Visit the Waitangi village to taste Māori and Pacific kai and learn about the significance of the Treaty of Waitangi through interactive, family-friendly activities. Have a go at the arts and crafts stalls, fun for all ages.

All are welcome to join the pōwhiri that will start the celebration at 9am – a special chance to experience a traditional welcoming ceremony.

Auckland Council’s Waitangi ki Manukau is a zero-waste, smoke-free and alcohol-free event.
