5 December: R.M. Williams opens new Queenstown store
Iconic Australian brand R.M.Williams has opened the doors to its newest store in Queenstown, marking the fourth store opening in New Zealand.
Remaining true to the brand’s Australian heritage, the store’s interior takes inspiration from natural materials.
The focal point of the store is the hero boot wall clad in Oamaru stone, quarried locally in New Zealand’s South Island.
The wall showcases the diverse range of styles and silhouettes on offer, telling the story of handcraft and quality at the heart of the business.
Alongside the brand’s iconic leather boots, a range of apparel and accessories for both men and women will be available at the prominent corner location on Rees Street.

2 December: Partridge Jewellers opens new store in Auckland
Partridge Jewellers has opened its third retail location in the heart of Auckland, at 75 Queen Street.
The new multi-brand store will exclusively house two of Partridge’s most sought-after Swiss watch brands, Patek Philippe and Rolex.
The ground-level retail area will be shared by the two watchmaking Maisons, with an upper level that accommodates a service centre, head offices, and private hosting areas.
1 December: Gucci announces 2022 Gift Campaign
This year’s Gucci Gift campaign draws inspiration from the world of travel in a nod to the House’s founding history and heritage.
Under a starlit Winter sky, a cast of characters boards a fanciful locomotive with an atmosphere that evokes splendour but also a bit of intrigue.
Envisioned by outgoing creative director Alessandro Michele, the images captured by Carlijn Jacobs and the film shot by Jordan Hemingway cast a light on the shimmering and joyful spirit of the festive season.
The Gucci Gift campaign celebrates the magic of the festivities and the joy of sharing these moments with loved ones in the spirit of this special time of year.
25 November: Golden Goose opens first NZ store
Golden Goose continues its expansion worldwide, opening its first store in Auckland at Westfield Newmarket.

Louis Vuitton launched its latest brand campaign, “Victory is a State of Mind”, starring the football icons Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, photographed by Annie Leibovitz.
In a generational follow-up to a 2010 campaign featuring the all-time greats Pele, Maradona and Zinedine Zidane, Annie Leibovitz portrays these two latest legends far from the field, facing off over a chessboard improvised from a Louis Vuitton Damier attaché case.
