What: Te Papa is opening a brand new nature zone which will take visitors on an immersive journey through the natural world of Aotearoa. The $12 million nature zone will showcase, amongst other things, a priceless moa egg of which there are only 36 in the world. Te Papa has four moa eggs in its collection, which will be on alternating display. One of these eggs (pictured), which is at least 700 years old was discovered at the burial site of the earliest known Māori.
