Starbucks tests new beer flavour – are you game to try it?
A select few Starbucks stores in America have today started trialling a new exotic flavour of coffee to start the season: beer.

Dubbed the Dark Barrel Late, this non-alcoholic beverage is made from espresso blended in with a chocolaty stout flavoured sauce – topped with whipped cream and a dark caramel drizzle.

Currently, the divisive drink is only available at a select few stores in Ohio and Florida and it is still unknown how far the trial will expand.

Spokeswoman for Starbucks, Lisa Passe, states: “Starbucks regularly tests new beverages, and testing is an essential part of bringing the Starbucks experience to our customers… we’re looking forward to learning more from the test.”

Would you be willing to try a Guinness flavoured coffee on your morning commute to work, or will you be sticking with the already hugely popular Pumpkin Spice Latte this season?
