Except, the location wasn’t London’s Wembly Stadium, or anything of the like.
The former girl band hit the dance floor together at Victoria Beckham’s elegant 50th birthday bash, putting to rest rumours of an ongoing rift between some members of the iconic girl band.
As seen in a video lovingly shared by Victoria’s husband David Beckham on Instagram, Victoria Beckham rejoined her former bandmates Geri Halliwell-Turner, Emma Bunton, Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm, Melanie “Mel B” Brown to lip-sync along to their 1997 single “Stop.”
During their ‘performance,’ the Spice Girls, who first formed as a band 30 years ago in 1994, playfully sung hip-to-hip while also performing in front of excited party guests. At one point in the video David pans the camera to show him singing along, revealing what appears to be Eva Longoria and Marc Anthony dancing to the music.
“I mean come on,” the former soccer star captioned the post.
Victoria also shared the video of the boisterous moment from the party, which was held at private members’ club Oswald’s in London.
“Best night ever! Happy Birthday to me! I love you all so much! #SpiceUpYourLife,” Victoria wrote in her caption.
Mel B reshared the video on her own Instagram Story, where she teasingly added the hashtag, #tourdatescomingsoon.
According to People, a host of celebrities joined the party, including Tom Cruise, Jason Statham, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Gordon Ramsay, Salma Hayek-Pinault and makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury.
The party was also attended by Beckham’s family, including four children Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, and Cruz, 19 and Harper, 12, each dressing in formal outfits as seen in photos shared by Victoria on social media.
To mark the Victoria’s birthday, three of her band mates each wrote loving tributes on their own Instagram pages.
Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm, asked playfully, “How did we get here? 50 bloody years old!”
Mel C reminisced they had “shared so many adventures” together from dancing in a church hall in Woking, to dancing on top of black cabs at the Olympics.
“I’m so proud of everything we achieved together and to watch you go on to fulfill so many of your dreams beyond that is just incredible,” she wrote.
Geri Halliwell Horner wished her “amazing” friend a happy birthday. “From our Tank girl audition over 30 years ago, and you’re still shining bright! Wishing you love & joy.”
Emma Bunton was equally enthusiastic. “50 and bossing it! Your beautiful family are a credit to you and I’m sure you’ll be spoilt rotten. We love you to bits,” she shared.
