Sarah Jessica Parker says she feels like she missed her chance on getting one specific procedure when she was younger.

In 2021, when Sex and The City spinoff And Just Like That… first launched, Sarah Jessica Parker told Vogue she had tried to embrace aging naturally, and brushed off inevitable (and sexist) criticism.

“It almost feels as if people don’t want us to be perfectly okay with where we are, as if they almost enjoy us being pained by who we are today, whether we choose to age naturally and not look perfect, or whether you do something if that makes you feel better,” Parker stated.

“I know what I look like. I have no choice,” she added. “What am I going to do about it? Stop aging? Disappear?”

Now, the 58-year-old star has reiterated the fact she has avoided injectables or surgery but admits it has often crossed her mind.

In an appearance on the Howard Stern radio show she offered her own take on her looks, calling herself “presentable” and even went so far as to say she has considered a facelift but mused she had missed the boat timing-wise.

When Stern pressed Parker about whether she sees ‘a good-looking human being’ when she looks in the mirror she responded simply.

“I mean, I’m presentable. I don’t really like looking at myself… I never have,” Parker told Stern, adding that she likes wardrobe fittings and getting in costume. “I mean, I think I’m fine.”

Parker joked that she thinks about procedures like face lifts or Botox “all the time,” adding, “I ask people all the time – is it too late? People would be like, ‘Well, you not only look rested, you look like an entirely different human being.'”

The actress said she doesn’t feel the “need” to have anything done. Though she sees a dermatologist for skin treatments including peels and has not had cosmetic surgery performed, she said does not see anything wrong with people who choose to do so.

“I honestly think I missed out on the facelift, the old-fashioned good one that you have when you’re 44,” she laughed.

“I do understand why people make the choice, because there is so much emphasis put on … primarily women about looks,” Parker continued, later adding: “I think people should do whatever makes them feel better walking out the door.”
