Surry Hills neighbourhood bistro, Rainford Street Social is teaming up with Orange’s Philip Shaw Winery to celebrate the unique flavours and produce of Orange Food & Wine Week in Sydney.
On Wednesday 25 September, Damien Shaw and Rainford’s executive chef Benjamin Orpwood will host a special five course wine degustation evening, guiding guests through a menu that fuses a range of local Orange produce, carefully selected to complement Philip Shaw’s finest wines.
The evening has been designed to offer locals the opportunity to experience the flavours of Orange’s rich viticultural and food offering, minus the roadtrip.
A high note of the night will undoubtedly be renowned Mandagery Creek Venison matched with some of Philip Shaw’s hard to find back vintages.
Tickets begin at $120 a head, while an adjunct menu will also be on offer at the restaurant in the lead-up to Orange Food & Wine Week.
