The Prince and Princess of Wales have marked their 13th wedding anniversary by sharing a portrait from their big day.

The previously unseen image shows the couple smiling and standing together, with the bride’s bouquet on show, which featured the Queen’s favourite flower, lily of the valley.

The wedding anniversary is a happy moment in a difficult time for the family, with Catherine announcing in March that she had been diagnosed with cancer.

The princess is currently undergoing treatment. It is not known what form of cancer Catherine was diagnosed with.

It’s been 13 years since the world witnessed Catherine and William tie the knot at Westminster Abbey.

The occasion brought together dignitaries, celebrities and millions of viewers worldwide, uniting people in a celebration of love, tradition and a modern new chapter for the royal family.
