Dig out your cassette player! Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan are marking their return to Neighbours for the show’s finale with a special re-release of their 1988 hit ‘Especially for You’.
A limited number of copies will be released on vinyl and cassette from 5 August, and the single is already available for pre-order.
“Now we ARE back together on ‘Neighbours’, a limited run of ‘Especially for You’ with @JDonOfficial will be available on vinyl and cassette on 5th August to bring back more 80s memories!!” shared Minogue on Twitter.
Once co-stars and a couple – now Minogue and Donovan have reunited to farewell iconic Aussie soap Neighbours.
Minogue shared some photos of the pair on set on social media, with the singer sporting the curls she had when she was a star of the show in the 80s.
She captioned the snaps ‘Now we’re back together’, referencing the song ‘Especially For You’.

Minogue and Donovan are reprising their roles as married couple Charlene and Scott for the soap’s last-ever episode.
The pair’s on-screen wedding was watched by two million Australians when it aired on 1 July, 1987.
Minogue and Donovan were together in real life during their time on Neighbours, before they split in 1989 after three years of dating.
