Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, who announced their separation in September, have taken a significant step in deciding the custody arrangements for their daughters, Willa (three years old) and Delphine (14 months).

Reports had been made of a further dispute regarding where the children should reside. Turner favouring a return to her native England while Jonas had a change of heart. He reportedly wished to keep them in the United States.

After engaging in four days of mediation sessions in New York, the couple has reached a temporary shared custody agreement.

Court documents obtained by media outlets outline the terms of this arrangement.

Jonas/Turners Agreement

Turner, 27, and Jonas, 34, will alternate two-week periods with their daughters until January 2024. At that point, they aim to “amicably” formalise the custody arrangement and proceed with their divorce.

This agreement grants the children the flexibility to travel freely between the United Kingdom and the United States. This resolves previous speculation that Jonas might be withholding their passports.

In addition to the custody schedule, there are other details that will be worked out. Details include Willa and Delphine’s arrangements for spending Christmas in England and accompanying their father’s band, the Jonas Brothers, on tour.

Turner’s lawyer, Stephen Cullen, referred to the ongoing mediation as “productive”. Cullen highlighted the shared custody arrangement as a positive step toward an amicable resolution of all issues.
