In recent weeks, Jackman has been photographed around New York with co-star Ryan Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively. The couple joined Jackman at the Polo Bar on Thursday night to celebrate the Wolverine star’s 55th birthday. Although there was another surprising guest at the table.
Sources at the popular New York restaurant spied Jackman’s ex-wife Furness joining in on the birthday celebrations.
“Very happy time [had] by all. Think it was good birthday,” the source revealed.
Jackman’s spokesman also confirmed that Furness had joined him for the celebrations, telling the outlet: “Yes, it’s true. It was a lovely evening.”
The actor later took to social media to share a picture of himself enjoying a birthday drink, thanking fans for their outpouring of support.
“Thank you ALL for the birthday love!!! I’m reading your messages, seeing the special videos and experiencing all the feels,” Jackman captioned the Instagram post.
The couple vowed their separation would continue “with gratitude, love, and kindness.” Which their first joint public appearance certainly showcases.
