Antipodes High Tea at QT Wellington
Kiwi skincare brand Antipodes is the focus of a beautiful limited edition High Tea event coming to the QT in Wellington.
Inspired by the probiotic and bioactive ingredients in Antipodes range, QT Wellington’s Executive Chef, Antoine Collet, has crafted a delicious menu of sweet and savoury pastries.
Some of the treats on offer are flaxseed and avocado tarts, spirulina and goat’s cheese mille feuilles, kawakawa and orange duck croquettes, and banana, kiwi and honey cakes with a pineapple crisp.
After dining, you get to take home a full-size Antipodes Culture Night Recovery Water Cream, valued at $70, which is more than the dining price per person, at $69, which makes it an alluring prospect, if you ask us!
Nourish Me High Tea is available from $69 per person at Hippopotamus Restaurant, Saturdays and Sundays from 11 May to 28 July. Sittings are between 1pm and 3.30pm.
Tailored To You Afternoon Tea at Hilton Auckland’s Bellini Bar
Following the success of Bellini’s High Tea collaboration with lipstick queen Karen Murrell, the chic waterfront bar with the captivating views is now linking up with kiwi skincare brand Tailor.
Celebrating the brands effective, clean and gentle skincare products, the ‘Tailored To You’ Afternoon Tea has been designed by Hilton Auckland’s team of culinary talents led by Culinary Director, Des Harris, Executive Chef, Alan Smith and Pastry Chef, Hiranya Ratnayake.
Expect bite size delicts like Chocolate Hazelnut Tart with Plum Jelly and Coffee Chantilly, Caramelised Pineapple Mousse with Butterscotch and Cashew Custard on Coconut Cake and Matcha Sponge with Yuzu Jelly and White Chocolate Chantilly. Each plays on ingredients in Tailor’s skincare range, including the ‘Awaken’ Brightening Eye Cream, which each diner gets to take home.
The Tailored To You Afternoon Tea is available from $89 per person at Bellini Bar every Thursday to Sunday, with three seatings – at 11am, 12pm 2.45pm, until 30 June 2024.
