Helen Mirren, an icon of both stage and screen, graced Paris Fashion Week with her presence, and as always, she left an indelible mark on the event.

Known for her runway and red carpet transformations, Dame Mirren’s appearance at the L’Oreal Paris – Walk Your Worth Runway event was nothing short of spectacular.

A Shimmering Runway Star

As a brand ambassador for L’Oréal, it was only fitting that Helen Mirren took to the runway with poise and grace. She wore a resplendent silver off-the-shoulder gown by Elie Saab. Reminiscent of a disco ball, the gown captured the essence of glamour that Paris Fashion Week embodies. The dress featured floor-length sleeves with tasteful slits.

However, it was her hair that stole the spotlight. With her hair styled in seriously volumised crimped platinum blonde locks, Mirren looked like a vision from another era. The mane was a testament to the power of hair as a fashion statement. The voluminous texture and an undone frizz billowed behind her as she pranced down the catwalk. Accessories were kept minimal, allowing her radiant dress and iridescent hair to shine. She chose a pair of contrasting metallic strapy gold heels to complete her look.

Mirren’s makeup perfectly complemented her ensemble. She wore a shimmery smokey eye, bronzed skin, and soft pink lips. From head to toe, she shimmered like a star.

Championing the Grey Hair Revolution

Helen Mirren’s choice to embrace her natural grey hair has been both a personal statement and an inspiration to many. In a world where the pressure to maintain youthful appearances often prevails, Mirren’s journey to grey hair liberation has been refreshing. In a 2021 interview, she revealed that going grey was “easy” for her due to her natural blonde hair. She eloquently described the transition as making her hair look as if it had been kissed by the sun year-round.

But Mirren’s support for silver-haired actresses doesn’t stop with her own journey. She encourages others to embrace their unique hair transitions, emphasising that “going grey is to be encouraged” and that individuals should do whatever makes them feel comfortable.
