The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who will cease to be senior members of this week, have shared their final message on their Sussex Royal Instagram.
The message thanked their community of followers for their support, inspiration and “shared commitment to good in the world.”
“What’s most important right now is the health and wellbeing across the globe and finding solutions for the many issues that have presented themselves as a result of this pandemic,” they wrote on their Sussex Royal account. “While you may not see us here, the work continues,” they added.
Under an agreement made with the monarch, Meghan and Prince Harry will no longer be able to post under the @sussexroyal handle – an account which currently has 11.3 million followers. Nor will the pair be able to update their SussexRoyal.com. While the Instagram account and the website will become inactive, they will both remain online for the foreseeable future.

As the pair begin their new life together, a spokesperson has confirmed that their focus for the immediate future will on their family and their existing charity commitments.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will spend the next few months on their family and continuing to do what they can safely and privately, to support and work with their pre-existing charitable commitments while developing their future non-profit organisation,” a spokesperson said.
According to reports, Harry and Meghan have recently relocated to California. It is believed that the pair took a private flight to the US prior to the closure of the Canadian-USA border. The pair are said to be in the process of setting up a new home close to Hollywood.
