Five naughty parrots have been fired from their positions at a wildlife park in the UK after they were caught swearing at visitors.

The birds have been residents of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Park since 15 August and became very bad influences on each other shortly after meeting.

They were donated to the park by five different owners in the same week and it wasn’t long before they started swearing at one another.

‘F**k off’ was the most common obscenity to be heard from the birds, with Park CEO Steve Nichols explaining that “it’s a very easy one for them to learn”.

“You get four or five together that have learnt the swearing and naturally learnt the laughing, so when one swears, one laughs and before you know it, it just got to be like an old working men’s club scenario where they are all just swearing and laughing,” Nichols told CNN.

Nichols says he is a victim of the parrots’ abuse, getting called a “fat t**t” every time he walked past the enclosure.

Thankfully, no more unsuspecting passers-by will have to endure the foul language of the five African greys as they have been removed from public display.

“Some visitors found it funny but with kids visiting at weekends, we decided to move them,” Nichols said.

“I’m hoping they learn different words within colonies – but if they teach the others bad language and I end up with 250 swearing birds, I don’t know what we’ll do.”

The parrots are not the only ones to rise to prominence after arriving at Lincolnshire Wildlife Park.

The park is also home to Chico, the parrot who loves to sing pop songs.

Chico went viral earlier this year with his stirring rendition of Beyonce’s ‘If I Were a Boy’.

One of Chico’s friends was also caught singing this beautiful tune to his flatmates at night – what a talented bunch!
