Believe it or not, these fields of colour are created by thousands of tiny colourful windmills.
Chengdu city in south-western China has attracted visitors by installing over 400,000 colourful windmills in an organic garden. Flowers have also been planted alongside the windmills, and will be in full bloom in less than a month.
The installation is part of the city’s festivities to welcome Spring. Workers on the project say that the theme is “Enjoy the flowers, enjoy the windmills.” A corridor has been placed through the installation to allow visitors to appreciate the display.
