The new Autumn 2023 campaign by Alexander McQueen has been unveiled, featuring a star-studded line-up of models and celebrities, including the 25-year-old actress, fashion icons Naomi Campbell and Liu Wen and actress Eva Green.
The collection draws inspiration from the figure of Joan of Arc and includes striking pieces such as a double-breasted blazer, an oversized leather coat, jumpsuits and a variety of accessories. The images, shot by photographer David Sims, feature simple, solid backgrounds with the models taking centre stage.
Elle made her debut in a chic tailored suit as her first look and a glamorous embroidered evening gown as her second, while fashion megastar Naomi, 53, donned a sparkling red sequin dress and a sleek strapless jumpsuit.
Sarah Burton, the brand’s creative director, has described the new collection as a combination of classic tailoring and creative subversion, capturing the need for strength and elegance in chaotic times.
The Great star has worked with the luxury fashion brand for several years, wearing many of their looks on the red carpet.
She wore a custom version of one of the fashion house’s dresses to the opening ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, after she spotted the garment on the runway at the Alexander McQueen Autumn/Winter show in March.
Elle is already a prominent figure in the fashion industry as a Cartier ambassador.
